Having first trained and worked as a journalist, a stint as a PR account director taught me that writing is one of the most important – but often underrated – elements of marketing: hence my decision to become a freelance copywriter 15 years ago.

I specialise in developing content for brochures, websites, newsletters, editorial and press materials, but have also branched out into advertising, video scripts, product labelling, social media and learning toolkits. My most valuable skill is the ability to listen carefully to a client’s brief and identify the right tone of voice to engage and motivate the target audience – whatever the medium.

My client list is long and diverse, including large global organisations, UK-based companies, renowned institutions and social causes. Based in Richmond, Surrey, I work with companies located all over the world. My strength in editing content written by people for whom English is not their first language has led me to acquire a number of global clients based in Switzerland and Germany.
